Banaras Hindu University

Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, in 1916, through close cooperation with great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was established by the Parliamentary legislation-B.H.U. Act 1915.

Courses offered:

• 6th class entrance

• 9th class entrance

• 11th class entrance

BHU Class 9th Entrance

Requirements:
- Age - 13 to 15 years

Exam Pattern: (2 hours test)
The question paper will be up to class 8 standard comprising 100 MCQs of subjects- English, Hindi, Maths, Science and Social Science.

BHU Class 11th Entrance

Requirements:
- Age - Up to 18 years
- Should have passed class 10th from recognized board with following minimum requirements:
- Minimum 60% in class 10
- Minimum 33% in school entrance test

Exam Pattern:
Maths/Bio Stream: English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, General Studies, Maths/Biology

BHU Class 11th Entrance

Requirements:
- Age - Up to 18 years
- Should have passed class 10th from recognized board with following minimum requirements:
- Minimum 55% in class 10 for commerce stream and only passed(no min %) 10th class for arts stream

Exam Pattern:
Arts: English, Hindi, Maths, General Studies, History, Geography, Economics and Political Science.
Commerce Stream: English, Hindi, Maths, General Studies and Economics.
